2020 was certainly a year. It hit me financially as it did many as a freelance designer. But, this did fortunately give me plenty of time to work on this new daily drawing project of mine. I saw the biggest explosion in my personal skill and learning. It turns out that after a drought, a little water goes a long way.

There’s still quite a few drawings that I look at and see as rudimentary and underdeveloped. But, I also am very proud of many of the pieces as well. This was such an early area of my art development. I had just started to get the hang of my tools and was eager to experiment. There were some misfires, but they all lead me to where I am now. Looking back, I can see by which pieces I still like today, the path I took to the style that I carried on with for the next few years. Some of my favorite drawings came from this year.
